How will I learn to start doing Facebook lives?  What's involved in the course?

The course is self study, not live, so you can work through it in your own time, at a pace that suits you.  There are 10 lessons as listed below, each with a short video and a PDF that you can download to print or save. 

Each video is five to ten minutes long, and then most of them have a homework task for you to practice what you've just learnt.  You will get access to the whole course straight away, but they are set up to work through in order.

I'll show you how to practice on your own, but you're also very welcome to go live in my free lovely and supportive Facebook community Your Brand Story, ask any questions about the course in there, and I will give feedback too if you wish.  And you'll soon be ready to go live all over your social media too!

When does it start?

The course is available right now, and you can start it at any time - and take as long as you like to complete it.  You'll have ongoing access to watch again too, for as long as it is available in the Academy.

How long does it take to do the course?

There are ten lessons in the course, and each one will take maybe 10-15 minutes to read through and watch.  And then add in a bit of time to practice.   So if you're in a hurry, in two hours you could be all set up and ready to confidently go live!  But if you need more time to practice and think, then you can take as much time as you need.

You get access to all the lessons as soon as you purchase the course, but it is set up so that you have to work through them in order.  You can start at any time, and work through them at your own pace.

The course is not taught live, so you're not doing the course with a specific group of people, but you are very welcome to join my closed group Your Brand Story whilst you do the course and you can practice in there with lots of support, ask me any questions, and get feedback from me on your practice lives.  

Can I keep access to the course after I've finished?

Yes you can!  You'll have ongoing access to all the course materials for as long as I have it as a product in the Academy.  So you can come back and look at anything again if you need to refresh your memory.

I'll also give you access to any updates I make to the course in the future, so if/when Facebook changes anything, you'll know about it too.

I'm not sure if Facebook lives are the right thing for my business?

Facebook lives will be an amazing thing to do for any business that wants and needs to build the know, like, trust factor with their audience, and especially for solo and small business owners.  Read more about this in my blog: Why going live is good for your business.

I've done a few Facebook Lives before, so I'm not a complete beginner / I've done your challenge on Facebook lives before.  Is the course still suitable for me?

Yes!  If you're still fairly new to doing lives, and have just done a few, then the rest of the course will help you to look better in your lives, and to feel better about doing them, gain confidence, plan a strategy for your content, and make the most of doing lives.  The course covers lots more information that I did in the challenge in the group, including going live on your computer as well as on your phone.

I've done quite a lot of Facebook lives before, is the course still suitable for me?

Probably not!  This is a beginners course, with step by step instructions to get you started doing lives, and help to keep you doing them confidently.

What if I change my mind?

Hello!  I’m Jane, a branding photographer based in Kent, UK.  I have been taking photos since I was at least seven, when my favourite birthday present was my first camera!  My first proper job was in a picture library, selling photographs – but I soon realised that I wanted to be the one taking them, so I found some evening classes and got learning properly.  Then followed nearly a decade of photographing for other companies, before children, and redundancy, led me to starting my own photography business.

I love meeting and photographing other amazing business owners, and creating them beautiful story-telling imagery that will build their stand-out brand and grow their business.  And I've also discovered that I love teaching what I know too!  So I help my clients with creating their brand, taking their own brand photos, and now also with getting visible by going live too!  So let's have fun getting you out there :)
